The owners of Humane Wildlife Conflict Resolution, LLC went to Durban, South Africa to volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation center called CROW (Center for Rehabilitation of Wildlife). They specialized in Baboons and Vervet monkeys but rehabilitated all animals indigenous to South Africa. The animals were released back into the wild at numerous wildlife safari parks around South Africa. Tyler enjoyed babysitting Milly, a baby Vervet monkey. She was not potty trained but Tyler didn't mind. She was very cute. He also got the opportunity to clean the water dish in the adult Baboon cage. This is a dangerous job because if the troop of Baboons attacked a human, they could kill. In the picture you can see Susie, the alpha female of the troop grooming Tyler while he waited on the water dish to fill up. He was very careful not to set her off. You can also see in the pictures a Jackal in a net. The Manager of CROW needed help giving the Jackal a rabies show. Tyler was the lucky person who got to hold the Jackal for the Manager. The Manager of CROW wanted to offer Tyler a job. He said Tyler had no fear of animals but also enjoyed people, qualities needed for this kind of work.
